The Early Childhood Education application includes all publicly-funded early childhood seats for infants to 4 years. It includes programs participating in the childcare assistance program, Early Head Start, Head Start, NSECD, and Pre-K 4 programs.

How do I know which programs I’m eligible for?

There are many different early childhood programs, with different eligibility requirements. It is important to know your options and what it means to be eligible before you submit your child’s OneApp.

In addition to the OneApp Early Childhood Catalog, there are several publicly available resources to help you navigate the early childhood enrollment process, such as the New Orleans Guide to Early Childhood Education (available at public libraries and participating programs), Family Resource Centers and agendaforchildren.org. Families are encouraged to reach out to participating early childhood programs for detailed program information or for help understanding how to apply.
