McMillian's First Steps (Early Head Start/NSECD)

Eligibility: Eligibility and priority for Head Start programs is determined by an Eligibility Priority Criteria Score (EPC), a federally-regulated set of criteria designed to ensure Head Start Centers are serving the highest-need applicants. Head Start and Early Head Start programs are open to qualifying Orleans Parish residents who meet the program age requirements on or before September 30, 2019.
Priority: EPC Score
Eligibility: Louisiana Residents who are eligible for Free-or-Reduced Priced Lunch and will turn 4 years-old on or before September 30, 2019.
Priority: (1) Continuing students, (2) then All other applicants
McMillian's First Steps (CCAP)
Eligibility: Louisiana Residents who meet income and work requirements (20+ hrs. per week in school, training, or job)
