If you are new to New Orleans or new to public schools, you can enroll in a New Orleans Public School today. Students who are new to the school system may attend a school of their choice, regardless of where they live, based on seat availability. Mid-year placements are first-come, first-served.
To enroll in school today, visit any of our three Family Resource Centers. At the Family Resource Center, your family will be able to speak with a dedicated School Choice Advisor about the school options available in your child’s grade. When selecting from available schools, remember to ask our School Choice Advisors about transportation, school activities, and any other factors that may be important for you and your child.
