Participate in Round 2 of OneApp if:

  • You are interested in a transfer for your child from one public school to another
  • Your child will be new to the system next year and needs a placement
  • You applied in Main Round and:
    • there is a school you would rather your child attend than the one they were placed in
    • your child did not receive a placement

NOTE: If you are assigned in Round 2, you will lose your Main Round placement.

Round 2 Opens: April 14, 2021

Early Window for Selective Schools: May 7, 2021

Round 2 Closes: May 21, 2021

Results for Round 2 are expected to be released during the month of June.

How does my Round 2 Application Affect my Main Round placement?

You will lose your Main Round placement if you are assigned to a school you choose in Round 2. However, you will NOT lose your Main Round placement if you apply in Round 2 and do not receive a placement.

Note for students assigned in the Main Round:

Even if you choose to participate in Round 2, contact your new school by May 21, 2021 to register and confirm your seat. After that deadline, schools are permitted to remove students who have not made contact.
