How does my Round 2 Application Affect my Main Round placement?
You will lose your Main Round placement if you are assigned to a school you choose in Round 2. However, you will NOT lose your Main Round placement if you apply in Round 2 and do not receive a placement.
Note for students assigned in the Main Round:
Even if you choose to participate in Round 2, contact your new school by May 21, 2021 to register and confirm your seat. After that deadline, schools are permitted to remove students who have not made contact.

OneApp is the unified application process for New Orleans Public Schools. Before submitting an application for next school year, we encourage you to research your school choices.
Visit our school profiles: K-12 schools and Early Childhood school profiles provide information like location, grades served, school performance, and extracurriculars. Use the “Find” filtering tool to narrow down your options. To filter the school options, click “Find” and select whichever criteria is important to your family in selecting a school.
