At KIPP Believe, we empower our young scholars with knowledge and community support, while cultivating strong character and values. Our scholars gain tools to become advocates in order to become respectful leaders who succeed in ending generational poverty within their community. KIPP Believe creates a school environment where all children are safe and free to take risks in order to become their best selves.

Most New Orleans public schools are charter schools, public schools governed by non-profit boards. Each board is given a contract to operate their charter school for a number of years. When the contract is up for renewal, the Orleans Parish School Board or Louisiana Department of Education uses school performance to determine if the contract should be renewed.
