Mission Statement / Programmatic Model:
At KIPP Believe, we empower our young scholars with knowledge and community support, while cultivating strong character and values. Our scholars gain tools to become advocates in order to become respectful leaders who succeed in ending generational poverty within their community. KIPP Believe creates a school environment where all children are safe and free to take risks in order to become their best selves.
Most New Orleans public schools are charter schools, public schools governed by non-profit boards. Each board is given a contract to operate their charter school for a number of years. When the contract is up for renewal, the Orleans Parish School Board or Louisiana Department of Education uses school performance to determine if the contract should be renewed. If the school hasn’t demonstrated acceptable performance, it may close at the end of the school year, or be taken over by a new non-profit board.
Below we display school performance information. Due to COVID-19, It is important to note that this performance information reflects student performance data gathered during the 2018 school year. We encourage you to use all of the information available on this page and by contacting the school to learn more about how the school can meet your family’s needs.Letter Grade: C
