The Orleans Parish School Board and the Recovery School District are partnering together to provide students and families with the opportunity to choose a school that suits their interests and needs. The annual New Orleans Public School Enrollment Process offers students the opportunity to easily apply to all participating schools using one application.

The 2015-2016 application period has passed. If your student still needs a school for the 2015-2016 school year, please participate in Late Enrollment.

Please note that as of July 27, Late Enrollment will be conducted at our standard Family Resource Center locations.

Late Enrollment is a first-come, first served enrollment process for families who missed the OneApp application windows or are new to the city. If your family still needs a school placement for the 2015-2016 school year, you must participate in the 2015 Late Enrollment cycle. Late Enrollment includes participating public schools only.

Late Enrollment continues until August 31. Starting July 27, we will return to our standard Family Resource Centers and hours.

Public Comment Period for Early Childhood Education Policy

In order to increase access to quality childhood education statewide, Act 717 of the 2014 Regular Legislative Session requires all early care and education networks in the state to fully coordinate enrollment for all publicly funded programs from birth through four years of age by October 1, 2015.  In order to ensure this coordination, the Louisiana Department of Education is requiring the New Orleans Early Education Network (NOEEN) to submit a 2015-16 Coordinated Enrollment Plan.

In order to ensure that the plan is effective, transparent, and developed collaboratively, Agenda for Children (the Lead Agency for NOEEN) and EnrollNOLA would like your feedback and comments on the proposed framework prior to submitting to the NOEEN Steering Committee for Approval in September.

Please share comments, questions, and feedback on the 2015-16 NOEEN Coordinated Enrollment Framework from August 4th-21st via email to publiccomments@agendaforchildren.org.
